Membership in the organization provides a means of ongoing education in addition to a vast resource of seasoned experienced brokers and Merger & Acquisition specialists.
Annually the CVBBA has a conference, which is included in members’ dues, and provides current industry trends and a formal platform for educational credits.
Those credits acquired at the conference can be applied to the requirement of credits hours for either earning or renewing the CBI (Certified Business Intermediary), a certification that many CVBBA members have or are working toward.
In addition, the conference, through sponsorship, includes sessions designed to inform the membership base of the latest in current trends and legal aspects of business brokerage and Mergers and Acquisitions.

In addition, the CVBBA is an affiliate of the IBBA, the International Business Brokers Association.
The IBBA is the largest international non-profit association operating exclusively for people and firms engaged in business brokerage and mergers and acquisitions.
This association provides business brokers education, conferences, professional designations, and networking opportunities.
Formed in 1983, the IBBA has members across the world. The affiliation with the IBBA allows for the exchange of information to the membership.
